Andrea Fernandez joined the finance working group. She has studied banking and finance in the Netherlands. Before, she worked for the financial regulator in Peru for five years.

Barbara coordinates market research and the analysis of trade relationships in international supply chains. She has a background in physical geography and previously worked at Greenpeace International in Germany.
Chithira assists on various research projects. She has a background in Development Economics and has previously worked with a public policy think tank in India.
Debbie researches the sustainability policies of companies and financial institutions. She has a background in international development studies and environmental policy. Previously, she researched the public RBC policies of national governments, and has worked in academia in the Netherlands.
Senior Field Researcher
Diana coordinates our field activities and researches companies to identify opportunities for change. Her background is in agriculture and natural resource management. She is from Mexico and previously worked in Germany, Yemen and for Medica Mondiale in Liberia.
Estela leads our research on migration and human rights issues. She has a background in international human rights law, with a specific focus on the human rights’ impacts of corporate activities in Spain and the UK.
Frank takes care of the financial administration and financial reporting. He worked as financial administrator at various Dutch companies and is also active as a painter of realistic art.

Gerard coordinates our equity research on companies active in international commodity chains and finance. He is a macroeconomist and has worked for the Dutch bank ING.
Jan Willem van Gelder
Jan Willem has a broad experience in financial, policy and trade research and consulting, focusing on corporate impacts on sustainability. He studied development economics and founded Profundo in 2000.
Supply Chain Researcher
Jasmine looks into global supply chains, analysing trading links and sustainability issues. Previously, she was a consultant with Proforest in the UK, and has a background in anthropology and development.
Jeroen researches financial relations with companies that engage in unsustainable activities. He has a background in environmental management and worked previously at Friends of the Earth Netherlands.
Jim came from Colombia to support the Finance working group with retrieving and analysing financial data from companies with a risk in environmentally degrading practices. Jim is an economist with a passion for finance, risk analysis, econometrics, banking and optimisation.
Senior Policy Researcher
Juliette researches the sustainability policies of companies and financial institutions. She is the research coordinator for Fair Finance Guide projects. She has a background in Finance and previously worked for the ESG rating agency Vigeo Eiris in Italy, as well as for French banks.
Jurany researches the sustainability policies of companies and financial institutions. She has a background in economics of development and previous experience working for governments, private organizations, and academics in evaluation and policy analysis, a.o. in Colombia.
Cook & Cleaner
Lauren makes delicious healthy lunches and keeps the office clean. She is from Cuba, activist, and learning the Dutch language and culture.

Léa focuses on finance and equity research. She has a background in financial analysis and she has work experience in banking and asset management in France and Sweden.
Manon works on a range of different research projects. She is a journalist with a background in Development Studies (human rights & economics) and used to work for different Dutch media platforms, a.o. in Mali.

She is from the Philippines, and her background is in Development Studies, Social Policy, and Sociology, and she has previously worked as a research and policy consultant for a development bank, NGOs, CSOs, and academic institutions.
