Nuclear weapons and depleted uranium weapons are very controversial and are almost never associated with European countries. This research project analyzes the involvement of eight German banks in the financing of nine producers these weapons since January 2007. Five types of financing were encountered in this context, namely: managing share- and bondholdings, arranging or providing loan facilities, and underwriting share- and bond issuances.
